What Is The Goal?
First of all, new years fitness resolutions are highly individual. It might be getting in shape for one person, another trying new fitness classes, and the third is perhaps training for a new half marathon. Most new year's fitness resolutions fail because one of the above new year's health resolution mistakes has been made.
So, what can we do to fix this?
First and foremost, it comes down to...
It is actually no surprise that new years weight loss and fitness resolutions fail so quickly - when you set yourself up for failure from the beginning, then the new year's resolution failure rate is no surprise!
Before anything else, you have to change your mindset.
Just because the new year has arrived doesn't necessarily mean it is the most suitable time to start.
Taking care of your body and mind should turn into regular habits rather than a short-lived goal.
It's just that the New Year is a symbol - One that signifies the beginning of something new and perhaps, in your case, the beginning of the greater YOU.
So focus on your mindset first - Realize that self-care is of utmost importance, and it doesn't matter if it's January the 1st or 20th of April - The sooner you start, the better!
This leads us to the next point, which is namely, to set goals.

Podcast Summary: Embrace the Storm
In the latest episode of "Run into the Storm," we explore a fascinating parallel between animal instincts and human behavior when facing challenges. It's a common occurrence for storms to approach from the west and move eastward. Cows, acting on their instincts, attempt to flee towards the east upon sensing an incoming storm. However, due to their limited speed, the storm catches up swiftly, leading the cows to unwittingly run alongside it, intensifying their ordeal.
This situation mirrors human tendencies, where we often find ourselves trying to evade the inevitable difficulties resulting from our own choices. In contrast, buffaloes demonstrate a unique approach. Instead of fleeing, they wait for the storm to reach the crest of the mountaintop and then charge directly into it. By confronting the storm head-on, they traverse through it, minimizing the duration and intensity of their struggle.
The metaphor serves as a powerful reminder for us all, as we each encounter similar life storms. The crucial question posed is, which direction are you heading? Are you inadvertently prolonging and intensifying your challenges, like the cows, or are you boldly facing them, akin to the buffalo charging into the storm?
Join us in reflecting on this thought-provoking analogy and gain insights to navigate life's storms more effectively. Thanks for tuning in and embracing your Daily #DANEish wisdom.

Find your tribe! We all want to experience a sense of commUNITY. To have a group of like-minded people, speaking the same language, who are on the same page supporting each other as a collective. Sharing ideas, interests and working in harmony — be it professional, personal or other. Who we are creates who we meet — on a deeper level, your “personal reality begins inside of you” — when we are aware of what is going on inside of ourselves and are connected to our core self, what happens to us on the outside reflects this. The people we meet, the people we work with — they all gravitate to what it is that we project. If you want a happy tribe, be happy man, be happy! Life is about the people you meet and what you create with them. Now go be amaZing!

At least 9 out of 10 people would tell you that they do not enjoy change. Change is not easy because humans are creatures of habit. You want to continue living in a certain routine once you have conditioned your body and mind to function in that way. This makes you feel comfortable with your surroundings and decisions.
Even if you don’t like change, there are ways to make healthy lifestyle changes easier. There are also tools you can use to welcome change into your life, even when you’re entering new uncharted territory.
Here are 3 ways to make lifestyle changes easier for you:
Determine Pros and Cons.
Incorporate the Change Gradually
Use Affirmations
Some lifestyle changes are harder than others to become accustomed to even when we desire to make the changes. Many times just one of these tips will help you to implement the change, while other times you may need to use a variety of methods to feel at ease about the change.
Use the “pro and con” method to see the benefits. Then bring the change in gradually while you accept it through your affirmations. These techniques will help you feel confident so you can enjoy the benefits of your new lifestyle.

You are worth more than 50cents!!!
A bottle of water in the supermarket is worth about $0.50cents.
The same bottle in a bar costs $2.
In a good restaurant or hotel it can be worth up to $3.
At an airport or on the plane, you may be charged $5.
The bottle and the brand is the same, the only thing that changes is the place.
Each place gives a different value to the same product.
When you feel like you are worth nothing and everyone around you belittles you, change places, do not stay there.
Have the courage to change places and go to a place where you are given the value you deserve.
Surround yourself with people who really appreciate your worth.
Don't settle for less!

Life is a 4-Letter Word!
I want to share something with you. Where I am today is not where I was yesterday. What we are about to do together has come to me through life, love, joy, sorrow, pain, tears, faith, family and in the end love.
After all life is a 4-letter word. Yes it is! I have said a few of them in my day. I’m sure I have said several today. Ever said a 4-letter word? Let’s make LIFE our 4-letter word. It’s time to create YOUR future without excuses!
If you want to be better, live better and live the life you were meant to live you must understand and believe you are meant to do hard things. Every struggle, every success you have ever had has put your right here in this place in time to read, learn and embrace the life you have while building the life of your dreams.
You know what I bet we have a lot in common. I know we do. I want to wake up & be amaZing and see the beauty around me everyday.
I want to wake up and take joy in the ordinary. I want to see my children grow up and live amazing lives. I want to see my grandchildren do the same.
I want to dance under the full moon with my wife on my 85th birthday. , why not my 95th birthday. Can you relate to those dreams?
What are your dreams? Are they just wishful thinking or have you taken the time to prepare, plan and execute your dreams?
No matter where you are in your life right now—whether you’re currently succeeding at the highest level you’ve ever imagined, or you’re struggling to find your way, there is at least one thing I know we have in common (probably a lot more than one, but one that I know for sure). We want to improve our lives, and ourselves.
This is not to suggest that there is anything wrong with us or our lives, but as human beings we were born with the innate desire and drive to continuously grow and improve.
I believe it’s within all of us. Yet, most of us wake up every day, and life pretty much stays the same. It’s my life’s work to teach people how to create their futures without excuses.
It's time to do something, Make Life Your 4-Letter Word!

Staying motivated on a daily basis is difficult. In order to achieve your health and fitness goals one must plan, prepare and execute. It may sound daunting, but it doesn’t have to be. Follow these steps and you’ll look back at the last half of the year and you’ll be able to pat yourself on the back for a job well done.
STAYING MOTIVATED
Make it fun – exercise doesn’t have to be drudgery — and you’re more likely to stick with a fitness program if you’re having fun.
Make physical activity part of your daily routine – schedule workouts as you would any other important activity.
Keep track of what you are doing – recording your efforts can help you work toward your goals — and remind you that you’re making progress.
Share what you are doing – tell someone what your goals are. Let them be your sounding board and encouragement and be sure to ask them to join you.
Reward yourself – take a few minutes to savor the good feelings that exercise gives you. This type of internal reward can help you make a long-term commitment to regular exercise. External rewards can help, too. When you reach a longer range goal, treat yourself to a new pair of walking shoes or new tunes to enjoy while you exercise.
Be flexible – if you’re too busy to work out or simply don’t feel up to it, take a day or two off. Be gentle with yourself if you need a break. The important thing is to get back on track as soon as you can.
